I live in Sydney and am looking for a kite holiday for 10 days in July or August that is not going to break the bank. Used to live in America and am accustomed to cheap kite holidays in DR, Mexico, and Costa Rica and am experiencing serious sticker shock.
All I can find so far are packaged trips to Fiji and Cook Islands that I can not afford. Any recommendations for the budget kiter?
catch a train to woy woy in a Sw-S wind then go to umina beach (there will probably be accompanying southerly swell),voila ,cheap as bro
Otherwise get a jitstar or virginal flight to Fiji and kite sigatoka sand dunes .Works all tides (has the occasional tiger shark but there is usually a cupla local surfers that offer an easier snack) Stay at beachouse backpackers (awesome place, cheap as, 40 mins away ) '"Cols' left ' ,"Lachs' mistake" , "Rics" right" and "Hollys' hangover " right out the front are all there for he intermediate plus .If it's a bit off shore head down to Siga .
