Whats the best wind direction etc ?

Hey man, go a bit further south to Tuggerah lake. There are 3 or 4 really good spots on that lake which cover all wind directions.

Chittaway Bay for S, SE, E, NE
Picnic Point for SW, W, NW
Canton Beach for S, SW, W
Don't forget Hargraves Beach and Toowoon Bay for deepwater Nor-Easters!!!
