CJP the bunker bay resort is right on the beach, its a nice little spot (haven't stayed there tho). Might be a bit tricky getting good wind as the prevailing wind in that area is offshore. If you have a 4wd you might be able to get a surf near 3 bears or similar on the otherside of the cape. Link below for the resort.

Yeah kite this is right.sou west blows offshore on that side.i'm sure the morning easterlies would be to gusty.have never heard of anyone kiting there.maybe in winter would be ok.beautiful spot though good for fishing swimming walking diving.heaps of possibilities around the other side for kiting if your competent.swells can get large and heavy.the real seabreezes wont have kicked in by that time either,but its still possible to get some good days.

North West would be best for that time of the year. I stayed in Denham one October and the wind was strong (25-30) every afternoon. Many other NW locations would be the same.
