Hey Guys,

A few of us wind deprived kiters are heading up to the Bli Bli cable park this Saturday the 18th... If your bored or have nothing else 2 do come up!! If the wind shows then we are going to the Sunny coast somewhere for a kite tho... Not that anyone would be dissapointed if the wind showed up!!!!

Hope 2 see ya there!

Hey Rehys where is this place, Sunshine Coast?

I havn't been to one and I was thinking of going to the Logan park one this weekend cause I live down near Ballina (NSW). Do you know if Logan is any good or crowded etc ?

i actually have no idea about the logan park... ive heard some people say its better than the Bli Bli one, and it is also more expensive... $50 somethign dollars for the day... compared to Bli Bli at $28...

Ummmm Bli Bli is where bli bli is lol... half an hour past Caloundra i think...

Have Fun,
Rhys

keep heading north another 20 hours and you can pop into the Cairns Cable Ski park. No wind due here either. It's only been open a month or so, but is only 5 mins drive from the main kite beach. There were more kiteboards than wakeboards there on Monday.

Hey Rhys... ur source is wrong on the hefty $50 fee... its $35 for an all Day ski pass (includes wet suit hire)... and their open 12-5 Fri, sat and sun...

hoepfully going there this weekend with a chick I work with and her daugher... maybe depends on the wind at wello then

anways... take care and all the best guys at the bli bli park..

The Bli bli one is alot better. Bigger, cleaner and alot less feral.
But - an extra 70-80mins drive north for you.

If you get to the logan(carbrook) one, check out all the lowered 2wd 90model hiluxes and the token 'hang your boxer shorts out the top of ya pants' crowd - hillarious!!

yeah kusu probably a bit too far to drive when the logan one would be only bout 30min drive... wouldn't bother... Is the Logan one relly, really that yuck.... it can't be that bad ... i mean wearing a wet suit and booties....

oh do all the local hoolies hang round there -- or at least the younger crew? no trouble I hope... ohh great lol.. pmsl... just what I want.. immature guys with that as their trade mark... 'least the kiters seem 2 be quite mature compared to the guys I went to school with-- but then the kiting guys are a lot nicer, mature and responceable than other guys my age...

got as nice session in at good ol' wello this morning.

Yes, pelican takess ssw but again is quite tricky with the rock wall and deep water at High tides (and out the back at low tide.)
Was hoping for a Sunday ride but looks like the graph is on the move!
