I think there is a warning in the 2004 user manual, which says that insted of depowering the kite when you apply the safety it powers the kite up.Not sure but check it out. I've gone the other way 03 bar on 04 kite works fine.
Yeah on the rear lines. Stainless ring under the ball. Probably make something more substantial at work so i can alternate back to my 05 co2 and use the recon2 as it was meant to, haven't checked the line lengths properly yet but will do.
double check your line lengths; i think the pre recon lines were all similar length but recon kites have the front lines shorter than the back ones b y a fair bit
