Is anyone having problems with the new Cabrinha IDS bars? The first problem is related to the donkey yoke in the chicken loop breaking in half or losing its strength? This then leads at times to the loop slipping out especially when doing jumps etc? It is not the end of the world but more annoying that brand new equipment has a fault after 2 sessions? The fact that the Donkey is yoke is at an angle in the loop system also seems to be over engineered and pointless?

The second problem seems to be that the bar grips are too soft and coming away from the bar? Seen this on two different bars (not mine). Just wanted to get some feedback?

The donkey dick does not extend all the way, so it can bend easy to get in and out of the hook, maybe you need to make sure its in properly.
I've had this happen to me too, but when I make sure its on properly I've never had a problem.

Take it back to where you bought it, the bar delam issue is being fully covered by Cabrinha (awesome product support).
The Cab logo comes off some bars and then the foam starts to peel away as well, it is only affecting a small number of bars, Cab dealers should have replacements now.

Regards

Steve

Hey

Another way around that problem on any donky dick where it starts getting Err flacid is to glue a bit of dowl (or poley batten) up it - only needs to be an inch where it locks onto your hook & leave the rest bendy so you can Err get it in
