Cabrinha Bar & Lines, 2015, basically brand new - went 'missing' from my gear bag at Townsville Sailing Club 4 days ago.

Gear was left from all competitors at the Sailing Club in Townsville, the bar was inside a ripstop bag made especially to protect the bar & lines while travelling, bag is navy blue. So it's not like it could have been picked up by mistake as the bag is one of a kind, I made it myself. I was the only one with 2015 brand new gear in the whole club, I took 2 bars as I may have had to lend my kite to someone else or have a gear malfunction.

We put out a notice and shoutout at Race meeting, no response unfortunately. The club people and organization couldn't be more helpful, friendly and accommodating - great crew. But the fact remains I am missing a brand new 650.00 bar and lines.

If anyone sees one for sale, just a bar an lines please PM me urgently. Appreciate the heads up.

V

Its normally me who goes off half cocked about something then realising its my own fault or I had it all along. Glad to see others do this as well ;)

Nope, it magically appeared in someone else's room totally unrelated to the whole matter. I know for a fact the person in that room neither flies Cabs nor has anything to do with it so I have decided to call it 'inexplicable circumstances' and put the blame all on myself even though I know I didn't take it anywhere near where it was found.

There shall not be any name calling except perhaps me being labelled 'idiot'. I am so happy it was found that I do not want to tarnish the experience with further probing .. this may also be due to the fact that investigating the matter may lead the task force to attribute the blame to me in the end for lack of conclusive evidence.

Either way: Me Happy - it's on its way to me..
