i'm just a intermediate and i got a new board as small as i never had it! so i think to fall many times into the water...

Hi Marco

There are lots of sharks in Perth, especially at Woodies. They are attracted by the seabreezes and go into feeding frenzies at the first sign of human activity in the water. Perth is renowned for having the biggest and most aggressive sharks in Australia, if not the world. We usually just jump over them but I have had several bite my board. If you can do big jumps and never fall off you should be ok.

Good luck

Beno - gotta agree > becoming a real problem lately hey Heres anuther trick.
If you stick close to a bunch of Euros they tend to leave you alone reckon its cos they prefer meat thats been cool stored. Us Aussies must be a tad ripe & rangey
Only works if theres a choice but

good one guys!!
they are trying to scare you... they probably dont want to be upstaged by a hot swiss guy lol... until you are more confident out there dont go too far out
anyway if the shark thing becomes too much for you ... you can always hit the river!
i have had my sharky moments when first startin out and thought every shadow was a shark... i was a nervous wreck... you will get over it... promise!

Sven dont worry about the sharks they are not only in Perth but everywhere else in the world that has a ocean with salty water in it - hey some dont mind going into fresh water (Bull shark).

havn,t there been as many or more deaths in the swan from shark attack?
