Hi guys,

I have recently purchased a custom and i am finding it sticks a little to the water. My previous board poped slid and turned really loosely, i assume it is because of the size of the fins, should i get rid of them all together.

Also does anyone ride this board with bindings if so, what brand fits them.

What size are the fins? Are they the correct ones for the custom? Should be 35mm.

yeah 35 sounds about right, they came standard with the board. The fins on my old board are about half that height. cheers

I use 25 and find it good, better then 35. Or just take the finns off altogether.

Get rid of the standard ones... They give you these because they think that's what kooks need. Get some of the smallest fins you have or can find, or, cut the ones you have smaller.
Personally I ride the Custom without fins, try it, maybe it will work for you as well.

Hey James I think I spoke to you and your mate when you tried out the c4? Anyways any boot with a six inch spread will fit, the spacing is common with pretty much every wake boot these days.

I'm still riding the 2013 custom and I'm finding now that I have the hang of it my pop is way better, try finless and see how it feels to see if it's the fins.
Remember it is a high rocker board that will suck itself into the water. But it's made to pop well so keep trying.

As troy just pointed out it is slightly different than most boards to ride. I found you have to be very lit if you want to get good height out of the flats. If your lit it will pop big, but if you are at all under it will stick like you mention.

Yer definitly rowdy, if your slow it's no good, but once lit and the right technique you will go flying.
