Hi All,

The Cabrinha website says that the Perth date for the tour is Nov 18th 2006.

Can anyone please fill us in on location, time, and what the program is?

Cheers

Chris

The Crew are staying at Margaret river. And will be there until tomorrow (i think) when they then drive to Perth and then fly back to Sydney.

Regards. Lewis

I'm pretty sure it's happening at woodies.
Give Daniel at Kite Addiction a call and I'm sure he will have more details

Holy Random Weather Batman! So far we have missed out on the classic WA seabreezes but have still managed some close-to-Epic action at Margaret River the last couple days.

On Friday we are planning to be at Woodies for a light seabreeze. Hopefully it turns on for us. Come down and check out the action and try a few kites and/or boards if you're interested.

On Saturday, we'll probably be at Scarborough and the forecast is again for a light seabreeze. Stay tuned for more info tomorrow.

bt the way, you forgot to mention, while in margs one of the older sponsored riders with the LOOK AT ME ATTITUDE instead of rolling his kite up on the beach like everyone else, decided to walk up the stairs,(which go up a limestone cliff face) into the middle of the car park drop his kite over the cars and on to the grass!!
If that wasn'nt good enough he walks back down to the beach , launches another kite and does it all again, stopping cars in the car park while he lands his kite over the cars and onto the grass.Who better to catch his kite? One of the 14 year old grommies who are touring with you. A fine example by pros you are showing your groms how to land a kite.
PULL YOUR HEADS IN!!!!!! for the kiters who live and kite here were the one's who cop all the ** from the other surfers and wind surfers after you've left for doing idiotic things. If you kite margs show the place some respect because its taken a long time to get from the wind surfers and surfers, and people remember idiots!!

Hey Silva/jacko,

Fair enough. Actually, before we first kited at Main Break we had a "group talk" about respecting the surfers, especially not riding through them or taking their waves.

I'm sorry that person in our group didn't take the theme of respect on board. Also, the fact that this person is not a team or sponsored rider, but a guest on the trip, limits my influence.

Anyway, we've talked about it and, if we or he are lucky enough to get back to Margaret River, I'm sure this situation will not be repeated.

Hudson,

If he's your guest, perhaps you should have excluded him from a day's activities?

We don't need this at the moment in WA (or probably any high use spot in Oz). Cottesloe is on tender hooks and we already have some attitudes at Margs that are anti-kiters. Next time is no good, we only get one chance.

Apart from that, it was great to see the guys making it to WA, sorry we couldn't turn on the wind.
