Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem. Purchased a new switchblade 2 12m just one week ago used it twice with no problem, then last night the kite hit the water for the first time ( from what i am told by other kiters this was not even a hard hit at all ) the result a torn canopy from the leading edge to the trailing. It is worth noting that the string cord which runs through the trailing edge was still intact. Has anyone else experienced anything like this with a new Cabrinha Kite as I am really quite P#**** off. My last switchblade never had a problem at all and it hit really hard many times.

Saw Nick's aka greuzi's brand new 12m X-Bow-2 do the same thing!
Mellow water "Landing" and the thing completely blew out.
Sure a bow/hybrid kite has more stress on it when it hits the leading edge first as the leading edge is curved.
Nick is talking to the guys about a replacement not just a free fix.

i had exactly the same problem with a c/bow 12 and also 9, first models. the stitching is weak as piss.
i was told the switchblade2 and crossbow2 were built stronger to overcome this. obviously not.
