Has anyone had problems with the Cabrinha valves ?? My C02 Cabrinha has the balltype back check on the struts and leading edge valves. The ball never seems to seat and the plugs seem too small for the valve as they leak.

yep cabrinha valves are ****.

Can never get the end struts ball to block the air. Try turning the strut upside down and flicking it until it sits right. Yeah the plugs are to small aswell but u can make them bigger buy warming the plugs up then up with hot water and using your the end piece of your pump.

I ride Cabrinha kites and have no problem with the valves (03 CO2, 04 Nitro, 05 CO2). I just ignore the balls – if you squeeze the bottom of the valve before pulling the pump end out you can insert the plug without loosing any air at all. That goes for the stuts on the wingtip too.

i got a 2004 cabrinha c02, and i have noticed the ball valves dont actually work, but i just squeeze the valve then jam the plug in and mine dont leak, at all, none what so eva! i had it inflated for over 4 hours one day, constant use with no inflation issues at all.

maybe u just got dud valves, try taking it back to the shop u got it from, or have it looked at by a shop who does repairs, they should be able to help you out.

good luck.

p.s. are u sure there isnt any sand on the inside of the valve? that would cause it to leak.

I found the solution to ball valves is Silicon Spray.......a true wonder lube. Works for my balls.

inflate the struts fully, then tilt it upside down and give it a lil flick.

once the ball sits on the hole of the valve nicely, you can remove the pump nozzle.

works everytime
