Hey guys,

I picked up a little 9m xbow 3 for my girlie and I'm having a wee bit of trouble with it. This is the first bridle kite i've played with (I'm on the North Rhino's).

1.Basically it goes like this - I gave it a test flight the other day and found that when the bar is released it flies straight to 12 like normal, but when trying to power it just kinda falls back into the powerzone and does not power up. I noticed that the back lines looked a bit slack. It could be that the back lines are too long (or front lines are too short), or maybe I just didn't pump the kite up enough.

Help?

2. And to complicate things a bit, when the bar is out it sits almost out of reach for me. If i cut and shorten the rope bit that the bar runs along to get the bar closer, will do I then shorten the back lines as well?

Ah too much time flying and not enough time tinkering with my kites
