I've been here 4 weeks now, 4 to go, and all the crap I've read about the Yorkies crew being unfriendly, unwilling to launch/land kites is absolute bull****.
I’ve never been to a spot where the riders have been friendlier.
Everyone chats, checks the egos at the door, and just get on with their kiting.

Yeah, I didn't think we are that bad. I'm sure we have all had our moments from time to time but certainly think we are a friendly bunch.

Has been classic Cairns for the past couple of days and looks good for the 4 or 5 as well. Excellent. Mind you it is about time as it has been a fairly ordinary year wind wise.

What are you flying Simon, I will have to keep an eye out and say g'day when next at Yorkies.

Dont know who told you that us guys at yorkys are a hardy bunch. all we want to do is to help out and get everyone out on the water. I have been doing it for just over a year and i have never had a problem with getting my kite up or down. thnks for everything. going out to the guys at yorkys
