Going to Cairns (yorkys) to kite, is there any "clear water" off the beach, or is it always murky, right now i kite on the Sunny coast.

Alas, the water is generally always murky, especially at this time of year as all the wet season rain has flushed out the rivers.
By the time you ride out to the clear water its time to head back to shore.
Whats wrong with a bit of sediment though ?
Have you seen the wind graphs, get up there son !!

its only sediment and its god because you can't see the crocs, or the massive tiger sharks or the marine stingers -- what you cant see wont hurt you is my theory. Pt Douglas is usually a bit clearer but if you want clear contact brett from windswell and go on a trip to the reef its crystal out there

Thanks. I know it's hard to beat the Sunny Coast conditions.
