Thanks to those who attended. Apologies as me and my family have been pretty ill with the flu.
I don't kite Mullaloo but feel at one with responsible kiters who do.
Kiters have got something special as a community and it is good to see us being
more accurately represented by responsible people, after the irresponsible or ignorant
few have created a bad impression.
I appreciate the leadership here too, despite our 'free spirits' and general disdain for getting 'too organised' when we're just trying to have some fun!

I think there is a lot of interest in our sport from the general public (and probably ignorance) so I'm always happy to stop and chat... well, after a session

... to other curious beach users.
At times I've also needed to be more forthright in letting curious people know not to approach the kite / lines, etc eg, on a previously empty area of beach, when the kite is down at sea and kayakers or windsurfers come close, etc.
