Hi,
You may have heard that a coronial investigation is being conducted into the accident.
I've been contacted by a member of the investigation unit, who is seeking witnesses.

I'm guessing none of the investigators are kiters so this is an opportunity to tell them what happened and for them to understand what happened so they can report on it correctly and fairly.
