Hi Guys,
Am new to the sport and would like to hear your opinion on something....

A mate who is also kitesurfer tells me that as i know how to fly "kites" with the bar i could go straight to a 9mtr. kite and take lessons, practise body drags ec ceta without having to buy an expensive 3mtr trainer. What is your experience/opinion on this?

Appreciate any thoughts, Cheers

As long as you get lessons, you should be fine to go straight to a real kite.

Get the lessons before you purchase as your instructor should point you in the right direction as far as what kite is best for you.

Good luck and kite safe.
