Southsouth easter at the northern end of the back beach if you are keen (read desperate), though I've never seen anyone enjoy a session from that direction.

Unless you have a jetski that can rescue you if you hit dramas... if so I'm sure I could find a way to take the day off and keep you company out at MB or SP?

Hey chris send us ya number again I will give you a buzz.

heading up monday morning, be good for an arvo session, lks like there may be some southerely in it.

Good idea airhead, been meaning to catch up with Ian for a while now.

Chris you surf as well? Wouldn't mind hitting eddy island for old times sake - haven't surfed it for going on 12 years! (Grew up in joondalup and spent most weekends in my early teens and twenties up there).

Yeh wouldn't mind being shark food as well!

Actually the northern part of back beach would work come to think of it, would be turbulent inshore, out a bit would be okay but a little sketchy...but if you go around the point, yeh you could be in trouble!

Maybe some kite sandboard gliding mmmmm

Sketchy but do-able. Wind is a bit turbulent coming off the coastal dunes though.
