Have only called in for a kite briefly at the Von on trips further North, Pelican Point is the main spot as far as I know, I have had a couple of good flat water sessions there.

I know there is other spots around and there is often heaps of wind, but no swell, so I haven't hung around long to find out.
If Mick from kitemix is still around up there he might be able to help you out with other locations.

Pelican Point is the most popular spot.

The Gascoyne river mouth is also a great protected flat water spot between the Jetty and Dwyers Leap. Good when the wind gets some westerly in it.
Afternoons have been around 18 to 20 kt here for several weeks but into a lightwind period now. Looks like very little wind for the next week. I'm going to down to Shark Bay tomorrow but that's not looking much different.

No waves

Yeh I was passing through not long ago and thought the Gascogne mouth would be a bloody good spot, especially as it meets the ocean, some nice sand bar, TT work potential in there. Anyone done it?

Had a kite in the river mouth a couple of weeks ago on the way up to exmouth.

Good spot wind was a little on the light side when we were out but a good spot with plenty of flat water

I reckon you could kite wherever you want in carnavon. It's not like Perth where there are rules as to who can go where. Just be safe and you'll be good. Just like Gero and all the little townships on the coast in between the major settlements.

Regional WA is seriously less codified than the city.

Yeh it looks bloody fun. Used to camp on the Gascogne as a teenages ( lived there) is only kites were around then.
