I am taking the family to Cervantes in 2 weeks time, any tips on where to go kiting?

Thirsty Point is the go, but Cervantes is ALL flat water.

grumplestiltskin, Thanks and no waves is good, I still want flat water as I am a newbie.
I can confidently get out and back do basic turns and get upwind without any trouble. I have only been kiting on the river so I am yet to experience waves and bigger chop.
I am hanging out for the start of the season so I can kite in some consistant wind rather than this gusty stuff I have had to use to learn.
But what an adictive sport this is!
