Hi all, i understand this site policy of no advertising as it can be a real pain in the !@#$% and i fully respect that.

However, i would personally would rather deal with someone who has a common interest (kiting) and who is offering some sort of discount on the basis of our affiliation with the sport.

So long as they are willing to offer a preferential deal to someone from this community, i don't see the harm in having a separate topic for advertising purpose.

I for example would love to know a friendly sparky that would take on a couple of cash jobs!!!!

This is a KITESURFING FORUM. If I wanted to read threads like this one I would go elsewhere.

I am in Perth and just wanted to find out the majority's opinion.
No sweat either way but i still reckon that it would have been nice to get a discount, deal with people of similar interest and make it more sociable.
I guess i will crank up the yellow pages
