Never heard of them , never used any of their gear but found some cheap fins on EBAY from Advection???? $37 for FCS compatible
Searched Advection and they are an East Coast based Kitesurfuing Company???? doing kites boards, harnesses etc.
Are they for real? Are they any good?
Is it just that I am Westcoast that I have never heard of them? Has anyone done a review of their stuff? Kite looked a bit average on their website....
What is the goss???

Yeah I sometimes kite with the dude who runs it. Hes a good bloke and for real. The kites dont look the best on the website but i flew one on the beach last time i went out with him and it flew really well. The boys that do ride em swear by em but i cant review em cos ive never put board to water behind em.
I can vouch for darren though, top bloke and genuine as they come, fcs compatible fins at 37 clams is about as expensive as they should be. 100 bucks plus is sheer robbery and a ****en joke and **** all the companies that try to sell em for such rediculous amounts.....And anyone that trys to sell a can of black fizzy drink for 2.80 too...

I'm mates with Darren and ride his kites and surfboards and harness and rate them very highly. I'll eventually fork out for a twin tip but am more than happy at the moment on an old cardboard tempo that i got off a good mate and just can't kill. I was thinking of getting a decent c kite for about 2 years but always put it off 'cause of myths about wind range etc. finally tried all my mates different c's and was about to get one for myself when Darren brought out one that was exactly what i wanted and nothing i didn't. real efficient, real fast, loop however you tell it to, good slack, easy to control when floating back as u kite towards it, no bridle to get tangled when crashing, launching etc, real direct feel. a tiny bit less bottom end than i was used to but way bigger usable range in my opinion. i love most c kites in perfect to high wind conditions. find them much more usable than any other shape in high wind. some would probably disagree with that though. I don't want to do a proper review as his mate 'cause that looks dodgy and it seems like his products are starting to speak for themselves a bit now anyway. He's fussy at getting things just right which is what made me keen to try his gear in the first place. But i did want to say that I've been using Advection products since i first bought my sick bamboo deck surfboard that i posted pics of ages ago and rate his gear very highly.
