Meh, I'd rather have the maker/owner pimping than anyone else (is it still pimping if its the manufacturer doing it?). If you know his threads are going to be like that, and it bothers you, don't read them.
It may just be because I'm West Australian, but more power to him, I say! I'd love to se a WA brand become a force in the industry.
