Hi crew
my daughter has bought some second hand kites which are all good but she needs a bar/lines. What's the deal with High V vs Low V. Can she use any bar as long as the line ends are compatible loop/loop or loop/knot. What is best for Naish kites? 6m Bolt and a 10m Park. Any advice appreciated.

it's all about how the kite was designed in the first place. If the kite designer designed a kite that is better flown on a high V bar then that kite should be flown on a high V Bar and the same for Low V.
Can you mix and match ? Yes
Will you see a difference ? Yes, no, maybe, it depends
Naish bars are low V, so my advice is get a low V bar with a single front line safety system and you'll be fine.

Basically, high and low-v wasn't a thing back then. Everything was low-v. But with the bridle arrangement of these kites you are not going to notice whether you have a high or low V.
more importantly, make sure your bar has a modern quick release and single line flag- ie, go for a newer bar than these kites... don't cheap out on this bit!
