Hi all,
Are any Brighton Le-Sands/Dolls Point kiters getting together to participate in Clean Up Australia Day? (Sunday March 3)

Yes for sure! While we are at it we need to talk about improving the behaviour of kites up at 1st carpark. RCC called a meeting with myself Vit and Nick, the manager in charge of the parks and beaches was nearly taken out over Christmas and he decided to cut short going for a swim, he then watched the carnage for a while and was very upset with what he saw.
Time to organise local kiters to help look after our beaches, or we will with 100% certainty face restrictions.
NSWKBA is meeting tonight to nut out a plan, but we will need the help of all locals and regulars who kite along the BB beaches.

Right on KP.
There has been a number of incidents witnessed recently by us locals and it's really hard to speak to some of these riders.
The softly softly approach works some of the time but there's always bravado that takes over from the fly ins.
I'm happy to share the kiting stoke with all users but also want to keep it open for kiters without too much council intervention.
