If one was to find a cheep plane ticket to brissy for the weekend. Where would a good beach/launch?

Critera is lower intermediate kiters & not to far from airport prefer flattish water not too busy that will work with the winds forecasted for the weekend. And that has reasonably priced hotels close by?

Any advice would be great?

Cheers

Chris

You could probably try Brighton, it just up the road from the airport. Or give them a call at BrisKites there on the north side, bit of local knowledge always helps.

On a Westerly head to Wellington Point, that's where most kiters go in a W here. If you need any other advice, give us a call.

yep i've kited wello twice now in westerleys (last friday was cranking!) and it's tops. if the tide's right and you can stay upwind OK, then most guys head to the eastern side of the sand bar. you get the 'cleaned out' westerleys coming across the water from manly direction, but you have dead flat water which is reasonably shallow for quite a long distance.

make sure you bring a steamer cause it's cold as nuts though.
