Introduction
Well its on again, after a successful two years the Coconet Classic is to be held at Tannum Sands over the Easter long weekend. The format is the same as last year and the event is to be held over 4 days. This Coconet Classic will consist of Kickers / Slider’s in the Free Ride event, Winch event, Top 10 Rider Shootout, Live Bands nite entertainment and much much more. The divisions will include Men’s, Women’s and Juniors with increased prize pool of $10 000 a lower entry fee.

Competition Schedule

The Coconet Classic – Day 1 Friday 14th of April

Entry Fee $50 Nomination Fee ( Inc. Saturday/Sunday Brunch, Friday night Sponsors Night Drinks, Nibble’s etc.
All entrants must be current members of AKSA and it's affiliated state/local associations. Membership fee is $60 per year.

10:00am – 12:00am Rider Registration ( Briefing on events )
12:30pm – 5:30pm Free ride as you wish no comp. ( Get to know the area )
1:00pm – 3:00pm Winch Practice ( Must be Registered )
7.00pm - 9.00pm Sponsors Riders night, Meet and Greet.
( Free to all Sponsors and Paid riders/ Guests )

The Coconet Classic – Day 2 Saturday 15th of April
10:00am – 11:30am Winch event/ Brunch ( Tannum Sands Beach )
11.30 am – 12.30am Womens And Groms Start
12:30am – 5:30pm Freeride Competition ( All Competitors )

The Coconet Classic – Day 3 Sunday 16th of April
10:00am – 11:30am Winch event/Brunch ( Tannum Sands Beach )
11.30 am – 12.30am Womens And Groms Start
12:30am – 2.30pm Freeride Competition ( All Competitors )
3.00 pm – 3:20pm Rider Top 10 Shootout ( Womens )
3.30 pm – 3:50pm Rider Top 10 Shootout ( Juniors )
4.00 pm – 4:20pm Rider Top 10 Shootout ( Mens )
6:00pm – Late Kite Party and Presentation Live Music, Food & Bar

The Coconet Classic – Day 4 Monday 17th of April

Chill out and recovery day competitors free to ride as they wish, Can also move the event to this day is case of low wind conditions earlier in the week end.

Rider Shootout The shootout will consist of top 10 riders in each 3 categories Open Male, Open Female and Juniors.
Rider’s are encouraged to complete stylish and technical manoeuvres. Note: Powered up wake style tricks will score higher than floaty tricks.
