Tim Straatmans the Coconet man, is the sponsor of many kite boarding events throughout queensland.Tragicly on monday there was a fatal plane accident outside of Gladstone at Raglan.The plane was owned by Tim's Company Armflame.All passengers on-board were employees of Armflame including Tim's son ,Luke.Many of you may have met Luke at a Coconet Classic helping out around the place.He will be missed but never forgotten as will Keith and Brendon,the other people on the plane.My condolences to all the families involved.

Yes, this is very tragic accident, my thoughts are with you Tim and family. Although I never met Luke I am sure that he was a great man, just like his father. My next ride will be for you Luke.

Tim & family,
We all are saddened by your lost of your son. All the Goldie crew send their condolences to you all, like Sir Rowdy we'll be having a few Rumbo's for Luke. Bring on Tannam 2007.
