Colin McCulloch, the legendary Airush and LostCause Board designer, passed away in the UK after a 18 month battle with a brain tumour.

A very sad day for his family, friends and kitesurfing community.

Just read this aweful news.

Both Tina and myself are really sad at Colins passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his wife and children, family and many friends.

Colin was a great bloke with a wry sense of humour. He had a rare talent for building really beautiful boards. Even if the production Airush ones never quite lived up to the performance of his customs (such is the problems of building boards for the mass market) Anyone who ever rode a "lost cause custom" will attest to this.

I'm very sad for his wife and kids and the general kiteboarding community. We have truly lost someone quite special and kiteboarding will be worse off for his passing.

Rest in Peace mate.

Darren and Tina
