Posted at geraldtonwindsurfclub.com is the complete list of prizes and a short note from myself.
The competition is shaping up very, very nicely and I'm really looking forward to next weekend. It's going to be great fun, get the verdict on the hand tommorrow and hopefully the stitches will come out.
Have decided to not lock anything down in terms of event draw/format until the day before to see what the weather is doing. Might run waves and freestle concurrently, might run waves one day and freestyle the next.
Might be double elimination, might be double elim. for the first round then man on man, all depends on registration day and numbers. Might do a lot of things!. Bottom line is, We are ready for you up here!
Registration: 9:30am-10:30am No registration accepted after 10:30am
MUST HAVE CURRENT WAKSA/AKSA MEMBERSHIP to kite anywhere near event site, you don't have it and we find out, you will be handed over to the City of Geraldton, somewhere around Wonthella with "I hate aboriginals!" tattooed on your forehead, your head shaved wearing a coffin cheaters t-shirt.
Directions for protests on decisions:
Drive to Northampton, take a left and follow the signs to Pt Gregory, there you find a toilet block by the beach, go in and you will find a mirror. Look into that mirror and ask yourself one simple question. "does it really matter?". Then walk out and enjoy the beauty that is where you are standing.
Now is the time to get in contact with me if you are coming up and would like to be involved in some capacity. We aren't desperate for any help in particular, but if you don't like the idea of Perth being completely JUDGED by the Geraldton kiting community, better put your hand up for a little judging.
If there are any Doctors or Nurses coming up, I'd appreciate your contact details (for emergency situations only).

Hey Gav,
Sorry to hear about the hand mate, don't sound pretty.
This is Jess now. Query regards the JZ/Priority Buoy diagram. The way it is drawn with the wind arrow & Point Moore being the location, it looks like we tack back upwind right in close to shore and the JZ is 200m offshore. Or is it meant to be come in at the upwind end of the beach, work your way downwind doing your stuff close to shore, then working your way back upwind out the back? VB and I have been trying to work it out.
Jess
Also sorry to hear about the hand, looking forwads to seeing it though!
