Good folk,

If I launch way to the west of the Jetties at Coogee, and stay well out (>200m) from shore, is the water off Coogee Beach off limits?

The WAKSA guide only shows the area heading north from the water intake at Beach 3, and exclusion very close to shore. How far does this exlucison zone extend north from that point?

Cheers,

Jimbo.

We saw a massive shark right there a few weeks back.. We were fishing (me and my brother) for whiting about 100m off the beach in a tinny.. It was bigger than our boat!! 4.3m tinny!!!

Good luck with that!

I guess if they can fish there, then you should be fine!

There's always sharks in Sydney... that said, I'm not sure I'd be the first to be out there...

I think he's talking about coogee in WA. You wouldnt go kiting at Coogee Sydney - there are no sharks, just lots of people and rocks.
