Yep, went there about 2years ago to kite. It's pretty nice. Muri lagoon is really the only kiting spot on the island. It's mostly sandy bottom waist and waist deep. We where there for 7 days and had wind everyday. About 20-25 knts. Went in april-may. If you can afford it try to get over it the next island called atukati, it's epic.
