I only managed to make it on Sunday but I have to say that this festival was so well organised and supported. Congratulations to the organisers and the volunteers!!
The downwind race was awesome to watch and the excitement in the crowd at the finish line was contagious. Congrats to Andy for winning (beating Mike!!), Simmo for second on the Peter Lynn and Keahi for third. I saw smiles on all participants faces!! Great to see really good prizes for the place-getters.
Events like this do wonders for the growth of our sport and from the crowd chatter I heard on the beach, kitesurfing has a great future.
