Last Tuesday, my mate was Kiting at Cott and while having trouble with his kite in the water, left his board to wash up on the shore. When he came back to pick up his board Two kiters ( probably local ) said that another guy picked it up saying he would email him ( his details on the board ).

WHY?! would you let someone take a board off the beach when it was obvious he would return to pick up his board.
If you are one of those two Kiters can you please conatct us, so may be we can locate the board.

Not a great first impression really, if someone really has just nicked off with it so blatently like that. Alex has just arrived to Oz for the first time.
If someone knows something.....

The finder of my board will receive $ 100 !! Same thing if you find it on the Internet!! The board means a lot to me, got it for my graduation!!

Good warning. I kite there all the time and take 2 boards and leave one on the waters edge and swap over every now and again. Might have to rethink that plan.

Good luck getting your board back.

yea not nice to have it knicked , I had a similar thing last season was kiting at Mullaloo and just found this board floating in the surf down near the break at the end of the beach I went to get it and as I was getting it this guy came out in the surf not a kiter and I was zigzagging back and forth to just get the thing, anyway he says "don't worry mate I'll grab it ", I said "na it's cool", so I get to it sort of at the same time.
He then says hey I'll take it home and give the guy a ring later, I say na mate I'll kite back up to the main beach as it's either came from Mullaloo or floated downwind from Pinaroo Point, he's like look I don't mind, anyway he was dodgey and I'm sure he was gonna knick it!!
Got the board took it back up the beach to find the owner arrive from Pinnaroo to collect it pretty happy I found it, but wouldn't have if the other chap had gotten his greazy mits on it.
As far as it goes I recon it's better to trust F all folks out there and watch your kit always and stay around other kiters there are **** loads of thieving pricks in Perth as I'm sure we can all agree to that, But every dog has his day as that little bugger in Scarbs recently found out when he was caught in the act.
Hope you find your board mate I have the exact same board and I'd hate to lose it!
