Anyone had any success using surfboard shapers for custom kitesurf specific boards?

Surely there are some local shapers that provide cost effective solutions compared to the production boards available today.

Interested to know any details possible. Cheers.

Hello there,
I think that any shaper could make a kite board.
Due to problem with availability and custom import duty we decide also to go local for wave boards...
They just need to make them strong enough for kite surfing!
This is my new board just finish last week..
