C'mon you guys. I have a few starters already. 400mm of rain on the Gold Coast and its water, water everywhere.

We could go from Mudgeeraba and do a reach out to the Robina Shopping Centre, then through Palm Springs Golf Course, Carrara and then pull up at Nerang.

Can anyone organise one of the wives to pick us up in an army Duck or Larck ?

Already done that Benny. I had 4 foot of water through my boatshed and workshop. Bummer !!!

Lost all my power tools, compressor, chainsaw, mowers, etc, etc. but importantly I rescued all my kites and gear !!!

The jet skis were floating around but couldn't get out as the security grill stopped them thankfully.

Should be interesting kiting over the next week or so. WIll have to watch out for floating cows, trees and other assorted garden furniture.

Took me al day Sat and Sunday to clean up the mess in the boatshed and workshop. Still a little to do on Mon but I am keen to get out later and also during the week if it blows
