to all of you who go the boardies on top; do you do the same when you surf?
its pretty rare to see anyone paddle out to the lineup with shorts on top.

i find the best way to disguise my pathetic package is to stuff a sweet potato down the front of the wettie. or if you are paddling and vegetables hurt, try a sock full of other socks

wearing boardies over ur wettie when ur surfing just adds drag, plus ur laying down the whole time when ur surfing minus the 5% of the session when u r actually standing up surfing when kitesurfing its 100% of the time that your standing and the drag doesnt come into play, so the arguements pointless.

Put simply its just about style, and each to there own. Ironically its the people who dont wear the boardies over the wetties that are the critiques and pay out on other people. Is it because your so full of style and better then other people that you make the comments?

Its like wearing budgie smugglers at the beach, by all means you can do it, Ian Thorpe does it... but some just would like to add a bit of mystery to the package, same goes for kitesurfing, I personally feel like i am wearing bike pants with my wettie on, even after surfing i take it off asap, i got no problem with the size of my jimmy i just feel like im performing an act of indecent exposure.

Most of the older guys i know dont wear boardies over wetties and the other half do. I dont look at these guys any different and I consider them a mate either way, if they like the colour orange and I dont would I critise them for that?

Each to their own.

Anyone that is worried about whether someone is wearing boardies over their wetsuit or not has a problem !
Why on Earth would you have the slightest interest in what another guy is wearing ?? I won't use the "G" word, but you get my drift !

I think I will start wearing my boardies over my wetty now,to stop these kind of perverts checking me out !

PERVES !!!

Im not worried about boardies on the outside - just curious to why - I found another couple of discussions on it and found some of the most bizarre (see gayest) looking "kite pants" I have ever seen - makes you look like a rodeo rider???

As for the man lump - adopt the bulldog pose and tuck the fella right back and rip that wettie up quick smart if you are concerned about attracting unwanted attention due to the... man lump...

Its only 12 hours till the wind finally arrives in this damn windless town... whooo hooo

I find the coolest look is boardies under a spring suit- they peek out the bottom of the wettie legs- always a weinner!

death graphics..hmm

well as a designer for cardboards i must admit i generally design for myself first, then do some stuff that the conservative will enjoy. I got into board graphics because i thought what was about was kinda boring, so i did something about it. The great thing is that now board graphics are becoming far broader and i think it is a logical step to see more skate, snow and wake board style graphics, as imo that is the where the sport of kiting fits. Now this may not suit everyone, but plain boards are out their, simple clean graphics, maybe not on every make but if a certain style of graphics upsets you, i would say dont buy that board, if enough people dont buy a particulat design the manufatures will stop making that style. I know that some of my graphics that i think are wicked, dont sell very well, while others that i am not that happy with sell really well. anyway JMO
