Hi,

I've got a 12m Xbow (my main kite), a 18m Naish X2 for the light conditions and now I'm looking for something to give my real fun in strong to crazy winds (20 to 35+), but also to allow my wife to ride in 15-20 knots (she's begginer). I'm 70kg and she is 55.
About the boards, I've got an icon 138 and 2 "home made" boards 120x40 and 145*45.

The idea is to have two sets of kite/board "ridable" from 10 to 25 knots for me and her.

Knowing all this, shall I go for a 7 or a 9 switchblade? I'm still hesitating

Any feed back on the Switchblabes 7m /9m 2006 to help me making this choice ?

Cheers,

Georges'

hi,

just look at the windrange of those models.
the 12 should go from 10 to 25 or a little more and the 7 from 20 or a little less to 35++
i have a 12 rebel and a 7 best yarga. windrange
looks ok to me.

Hi George

I would go with the 7M switchblade1, there will not be a huge overlap for you, but with all the boards you have it will be fine I reckon.
Your wife at 55kg will get a lot of use out of it.
They are a super stable kite, easy to fly and extremely good fun in high wind for an experienced rider.
I think I have 1 left from last year contact me for a great price.
