- Don't go travelling without taking your own pump.
- Don't borrow a pump without asking.
- If you do borrow a pump, put it back where you found it.
- Don't leave a borrowed pump extended out so sand sticks to the shaft.
- If you break a pump, fix it, don't just throw it back.
- If your in the waves, don't break the rotation, as in, don't short tack.
- If your tacking out into waves and some one is on a wave, let them go, don't cut in front of them.
- Bring beers and share them post session, don't just take them.
- If you do bring beers, don't bring crappy ones to share and take the good ones.
- Never take the last beer if its not your eski, that is the owner of the eski's drive home beer.

Oh and above and beyond all of the above,,,, absolutely respect the locals and their rules,,, no exceptions!

There's a bunch more but that'll do from me.

LOL... I personally bring Coronas - no ifs or buts. I hate XXXX. VB is ok. I also have a Chardonnay bottle for the ladies, just in case.

that said, it was a good video thanks.

I was just joking around. I like to caddy around and help people land/launch and have a chat. It only annoyed me once when I arrived and tried to set up as fast as possible to get a sunset session in and had to land three guys before getting my lines connected. At that stage I started ignoring people coming in. If that is rude, so be it!

+1 to Chris_M's comments.

We've all had to play the kite beatch at some point, It'll pay dividends if you are ever in trouble or need a hand.

The Pond in Safet Bay is getting out of control, with many tourists, and new kiteboarders, there are a lot of uncool things happening in the water, and at the beach. I travel the world for kiteboarding, and honestly, the more crowded spot the least friendly vibe out there.... Every year there are thousands of new kiteboarders and it is only going to get worse.
How is the kiteboarding ETIQUETTE at your local beach?

Yeh theres way to many guys staying in the wave zone without actually catching waves and cutting off guys whio have taken the time to tee up a wave.

Not surprising , really, that WA kiters are as obnoxious, clueless and talentless as WA drivers.
