Last Saturday I had an amazing session from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Leighton.
S / SW 19-28 knots
some times wind gOD farts in the sleep and we catch the fart and sniff it in our lungs (kites).

"Does anyone kite just for the enjoyment" This is a curious question and I'm not sure how to answer it.

Quite often you hear people coming in after a kiting session complaining "that was crap" "too choppy" "too many kooks" etc so you can only assume they did not enjoy themselves. They are usually the ones who have a lot of experience and are not getting the buzz they used to get or they simply like to complain.

Newbies seem to love every session and are overjoyed at some small improvement.

Sometimes pulling off a move you've been struggling with for weeks can make a session. Other days you can't do anything right.

Some people need constant competition to get enjoyment, others prefer to kite alone.

So, I guess the simple answer is, it depends on your approach to life - what makes you happy. If you look at the alternatives to gliding across the water with only a kite and a board for company everything else is a distant second.

I just like to look sh!t hot with my boardies over my wetty.

Ditto on the wind in Perf last Saturday. Noice to be on the water again.

BTW - yep purely for enjoyment. If you saw me you would quickly realise I have no pose value whatstoever. Better that way i reckon.
