Out at my local spot, on my 16m Crossbow just slowly carving up small waves when this black shape appear 3 ft from the front of my board as I was going down the face. I near ** myself. Then up popped the head of a seal. I started to move away and it followed. I turned to go back out and it was just playing in the waves. I moved back out and tried to get away from it but the thing followed me. I turned to catch another set and when i looked up there were 2 seals on the wave with me. I spent the next 15 minutes sharing some small waves with 2 of the coolest surfers I'll ever meet.

This goes down as one of my most memorable days kiting...

Seals are wicked. One jumped out of the water about 50m infront of me norht of lano. I went to shore quick though. Sharks like seals, and it was an evasive looking jump. Was back out in about 5min.
Also young girl was bitten on the face by one.

I remember this one time, at kite camp, this like seal and kiter, like, hit each other and like this seal. Attacked the kitesurfer, and like the kitesurfer had to hit the seal because the seal was angry because the kite surfer hit it on a wave, id be angry too if someone did that.

True story, happened down at 4ths!
