A PUBLIC THANKYOU TO,
Messers Brandon & G Money for their assistance in untagling kites,
catching beginners'crashed kites on the sand, encouraging struggling visitors to body drag out 20m before attempting to get on their boards, and having a polite word with a pair of reckless "regulars"
who conduct themselves arrogantly on the sand & recklessly on the water.
WARNING - RED CONTRA RIDER.
A great kite doesn't make a great rider - learn some manners if this is you...
Dropping your Red Contra Kite amongst swimmers & in front of other kiters & gingerly landing the Kite on its wing tip ON THE SAND and refusing assistance from the beach will result in the unexpected accident. Don't be a jerk!
Our best riders don't behave this way, so advanced beginners, pull your head in, co-operate , and respect the safety culture not only at Dolls , but where ever you kite. Save your Roadrage mentality for the roads, not our sport.
Our Red Contra Mate was at it again at Brighton carpark during this week. Worse than a mad woman ****ting.... all over the place, botched water starts, losing his kite on the shore again amongst families, in the way, not giving way. I know the chicken loop & dick might look like a phalic toy, but get it right or go back to lessons as you were told politely, again by some who have your safety & the safety of others as a priority.
I think conceptually we are all hear to help the troublesome few rather than ridicule them (despite my sarcasm). It's the behaviour of a few that reflects badly on the whole kitboarding community.
For those who did kite here safely over the christmas break many thanks for the effort & safe kiting for 2007.
Cheers
Monsta
