I just wanted to thank everyone who helped me out this afternoon at Dolls. I could see my life's savings blowing away with the wind!

Thanks especially to Dave, Allen (who brought in the board and tried for ages to drag in the kite) and another guy I didn't catch his name (who also tried to drag in the kite).

Thanks to all the guys who helped get the Kitepower boat in and out of the water.

Final thanks to Steve for being so cool about me almost losing all the store gear he had let me demo. I think I am probably the only person to borrow a board and kite and then come back out of the water with nothing!

There is definitely a great kiting community at Dolls (and Botany in general) where everyone helps each other out and I think that the new Botany kiteboarding club will really strengthen.

Australian mateship is always present ... we have a terrific bunch of kiters here ..... but mate I did hear Steve say #%^%$*&*&^ ...it when he arrived back at the beach with his truck ..... and saw the Flexifoil heading for the runway ..... but I think he was refering to me mate cause I said .... there you go Steve .... another lovely tax write off

No worries Victor you managed to loose the kite just after i came in but couldn't resist the chance to be a superhero. Unfortunatly I failed and when i was out there and the lines were all wrapped around me, kite powered up i was wondering if it was worth it but i know everyone around would have given it ago before giving up.
Sorry about the broken line its better then a dead kiter.
