ok I'm on the plan again... sat 19th or sun 20th Jan

Another Family day... Race day... down wind boost big day... what ever you want to call it...

i again want you to bring your Mums, Dads, Sisters, Brothers, GF's, BF's, wives or Husbands.... In short I'd like to meet your none kiting family to try introduce them to this great sport!

Start at 3:30 from Woodies down to Sth Beach then a BBQ to follow...

I'll supply sausages and salad and trainer kites
you supply your own beers and wine...

Ian young won the speed run last time so we need some guys who think they're fast to knock him of that perch...
Choice Man won clown of the day award for his down winder on a Malibu
City Beach Jack won the award for NEWBY NOOB most improved...

i missed the last one due to a wedding... so with no commitments this time i am going to be there for sure... Cheers to the Choice crew for taking over what i started and couldn't finish!

No prizes for any thing yet but i am sure CHOICE man Graham Baker will come to the party if we all bug him enough...[}:)]

call his shop to register your interest. 9336 7884

cheers Posko

Bugger - Sebastian Bubmann and I will be down @ Margs www.seabreeze.com.au/Members/Events/View/Pro-Rider-Sebastian-Bubmann_1422777.aspx

Or is that why you set that date Posko - maybe we'll go to Margs during the week so we can come to your downwinder on 19th

Good luck with it guys - the last one was a great fun day - hope you get more wind this time

ok... date sorted to Sunday 20th... This is the same day as the slider kicker jam so we need to either leave from beach 2 or the eastern end of beach 3 out the way of the freestyler-slider-kicker guys.

bring your family and friends as the start of the event will be some of the best highlights... The slider and kicker are great toys to watch good kiters on! The Local boys should put on a crazy show!!!

Pump up at 3:30, leave beach at 4pm at latest
BBQ @sth Beach after.

we'll supply Sausages, bread and salad we will also bring water and cold drink....
byo Alcoholic drinks

see you all on sunday

Yeah so the wind came! Looked pretty impressive with all the kites being launched but happy you took off cause it looked pretty mental for a while there with all the kites, haha Great session today though, good wind, good vibe

sorry didn't get back up wind with wurst and green Sprucey... but there was plenty at the other end... a lot more riders + family and friends than we expected so the 3 kg of wurst was not enough and few missed out on hotdogs... so sorry to those folk.

29 kites did the down winder and as the guy out front on the 17m flysurfer speed gotta say it looked pretty spectacular back towards woodies beach 3. with all the flat water guys + downwinders there were 40+kites in the sky which did make beach 3 a little hectic for a while. though i am sure the "Best and Most influential riders Crew" were happy to see the back of us and have their spot back to normal... :)

like to make a special thanks to Nova for taking the single boys back to their cars at woodies. and to all the Families that came along was really nice to meet you all!

thanks again to the riders and every one who did there bit to help out.

was a great day
cheers Pos

It was a great time for young and old

HUGE Thanks to choicey and posko and all others involved in the organisation,
and extra big thanks you to the chefs who cooked the snags, and the ladies who prepared the lovely salads.

also thanks again to Nova for the taxi service back to woodies.

the view looking around and seeing kites everywhere was awesome.

cant wait for the next one.
