It is amazing.. The wind Starts at 11:00 17 knots and it is not difficult to get 35 knots.. Believe me, there is wind 90% of the year...
Try to find on goole. Pecen ceara Brasil and check the distance to Jericoacoara ceara Brasil.. these was the last trip I did...

February is definitely a good time to go... Cheaper than December or july... Be prepared to go kite everyday..

I have heard that if you rent a car and leave it parked with your stuff inside for a long time, the probability is almost 100%, however, you will not do that..
I strongly recommend you to go to Taiba..It is located 60km far from the airport. There you can stay in a really good accomodation where the breakfast is unbeliavable(wide variety of food). The major effort you will have to put is to walk 30 steeps to reach the sand and pump your kite...
Until 11:00 surfing is a good option, after that kitewave (the waves are very good, I will upload more pictures on my profile) and if you get tired of waves, just go 10 minutes downwind and enjoy the fresh water of Taiba´s lagon...
To not have any probem, do not leave your car alone...

I've got a plot on the beach in Taiba - warm water, surf, wind, flat water lagoons, fantastic downwinders, friendly dudes, good beer, and they have their own national drink, the caipirinha.

Also no extradition policy, which is a nice thing for yer back pocket.

Any particular season? I understand it is the Aussie off-season so the wind is best from July-November?

Was it expensive? How often do you go there?

Not often enough... been a few years but hopefully next year I'll get a bit of a break. I bought in Taiba before all the resorts were built, I think it is a bit busier now.

breakzmaker - as far as theft goes not any worse than some local metro beaches I reckon!
