I'm taking a slow drive to Sydney from Cairns and a wanting to find some good beaches and lakes along the way to kitesurf. Any ideas?

Alva Beach in ayr.. Insane sic wind on most E'erly's, waist high waves, pefect flat water area's HUGE
Cungulla between townsville and ayr tons and tons of flat..
Pallarenda Beach townsville... aight spot
Lucinda works on any N'erly even if theres no wind.. it will funnnel thru the islands to get a 20knots breeze
