Hey guys,

If this topic has been covered already please post the link.

I'm traveling from Mackay QLD all the way down to Melbourne. Any spot recommendations you can give for wave or flat water spots would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Pat (level = advanced)

Yeppoon is pretty good - have been getting some decent NE seabreezes here lately.

Also Tannum sands just south of Gladstone is good and has a friendly local kite crew.

A bit further south Agnes Waters gets some surf as does Elliot Head near Bundaberg.

Cheers Hargs.

and you could try Burrum river mouth for flat water if you get a chance, run out tide/low tide, seast to east winds it works best in, at least when i have been there.
Probably have it to yourself and 1 other dude with his kite surfing dogs.
