Hi all, just looking for some advice on which one of these two kites to buy in either a 13 or15. I kite a lot in the surf but mostly onshore, currently have an 07 fuel 15 which has served me well over the years but maybe time for an update thanks.

board brand
size board that you use
riding stlye , wake ,freeride,wave
what wind range do you kite in
weight of rider and board type play an important role in kite choice

Perhaps a 14m catalyst for light wind drift ability?
The C4 will be closer in feel to your fuel, but the Edge will have more bottom end and upwind ability.
I'm only experienced on the medium sizes in these kites but a call to Steve at Kitepower Sydney or Rhys at Kitepower Brisbane should tell you all you need to know about the larger Ozones.

If your keen on Ozone - Ozone now have the Reo - surf specific kite. I ride a 10m in the surf and are very happy with it. I would not recommend the C4 or Edge over the Reo for the surf. I've also have a 8m Catalyst which is good in the surf. I would agree with Djdojo here.

Ya sorry fellas ill give a bit more info on things I weigh 70kg, ride TT136x40 medium flex , 30% flat water 70%waves but mostly on and cross onshore, so up wind performace is important to me. I have heard that the edge is good for up wind, but i am just wondering how good it might be at depowering. Especially in the bigger sizes when I am on a wave. Wind range light enough to hold my ground and still be able to do small jumps, top end,whatever I can hang on to, I have no problem with edging hard.

In that case a 14m Catalyst (if they're still doing them in that size) or perhaps a 12m REO.
Metre for metre the REO is significantly gruntier than the C4 and a bit gruntier than the Edge (but less top end). Would be close to your old fuel, but much more responsive and with a lot of depower on the bar.
The Edge and C4 have less depower at the bar but are more responsive to edging when at the top of their range. As you're on a twintip the Edge could work but for a surfboard it would start to be less compatible. Demo demo demo, and enjoy!

If you live somewhere that requires a 15 (i.e. very light wind) I would recommend the edge. It soaks up the tiniest breezes and turns them into a good amount of power.

I run an 11 edge as my biggest inflatable. (i'm 80kg). conditions sound similar to yours cross on and waves. i can stay upwind from 13 knots and hold it till 30. but the sweet zone is around 18-23 knots.
The edge is alot more powerfull than the C4. my 11 is similar to 13 c4 power.
ps i'm thinking of changing out my 11 to a 13 edge because i find myself reaching for the 10m c4 20+
