Just a thought, I love the feeling of loading the lines then realising into a nice pop but surely with the advance in materials, it must be possible to get some more elastic lines.

Imagine the big twing when you release

Someone should invent this, it would also have the additional benefit of absorbing wind guts more gently.

Imagine a kite loop, you would get a big twing from the back, travel the all way to the front of the kite and get a second twing backward (good luck lending it).

Even if the lines were only slightly more elastic, it should give a huge benefit on the pop.

I won't be doing the testing tho

As lines get older they get more spring in them, and that makes the kites less responsive.

Once my lines get a spring in them I get rid of them, so I have a few sets if you want to "experiment"

I have tested various lines and the stretchy ones are no good. As the others have said the lines stretch instead of turning your kite making it very sluggish.

No, it wouldn't.

spot on. it wouldnt create any pop. elastic lines would have the opposite effect of your thought process. you weigh more than the pull of the kite therefore after releasing (or popping) the kite would be pulling down towards you. not pulling you up towards it. (if that makes any sense)
it'd be a terrible session.
